I did not expect luxury for the price I paid. Airbnbs were more expensive and give you less room than this motel. It was clean and maybe recently renovated. The room I had had cedar plank wrapped walls and bathroom, so it'll smell like sweet wood. The place was more than adequate for the night and the bed was comfy and the bathroom was spacious and hot water was plentiful. The desk clerk was very sweet/nice. You're close to the shuttle stop at the Petro Canada if you'd rather skip driving into the village. Can't complain. Stayed solo in room 9.
The motel doesn't look fancy but, the rooms are nicely decorated, clean and the beds are comfortable. The manager is friendly and very helpful. The motel is located on a busy highway, but you really don't hear the traffic. It's a long walk to any restaurants, but there are plenty of options for delivery. Would I stay here again? Absolutely.
